House of Fashion was established in 1960 and has been serving brides since 1962.

The original location on 38th & J started off with a very small staff and alteration department. Decades later, a need for expansion resulted in the opening of the “new” House of Fashion located on the corner of 21st & J in 1996. (The 38th & J store is now known as House of Fashion II-OUTLET. All gowns in the outlet location are discontinued and are discounted. Exception: In 2005 we added five new orderable bridesmaid lines.)

We take pride in giving our brides courteous and friendly service through a diverse staff of different ages and cultural backgrounds.

Appointments are required for the bridal department and any customer who would like to try-on or alter her gown (especially on weekends). Bridesmaid and other types of dresses do not require an appointment.
